Here I sit, three weeks fresh off the wedding boat and still see the newlywed dust fluttering about...
On October 16, 2010, I married the man of my dreams & prayers. He came out of nowhere, and after one year of dating, we were engaged. And another quick year after that, we became husband and wife. Now, we are on this life journey together.
As I reflect back on the past year's events, I can't believe everything that was accomplished in such a short time frame. However, all the planning and preparation would not have been a success without the extensive (and sometimes, tiresome) help of family, friends and of course, the best vendors a girl could EVER ask for :)
I like to think of myself as one of those care-free brides that did not stress about much and tried to enjoy every moment as it came. Now, that's not to say that I didn't have the occasional crying outburst, because that DOES happen. And it's something I couldn't escape. So I just went with it :) But in the end, getting married in my hometown of Saint Louis, Missouri was nothing short of perfection.
Which brings me to the reason I started this site...
I enjoyed the time I spent planning my once-in-a-lifetime. I enjoyed it so much that I will now try my best to help provide details, inside scoops, and amazing vendors that will make any StL girl's wedding a complete success. You are marrying the love of your life, after all, so why shouldn't your day be perfection?
As I said in my wedding vows to my brand-spanking-new husband, "You are my once-in-a-lifetime." So why not make the event of marrying your once-in-a-lifetime, once-in-a-lifetime??
